How We Train

Included in your membership are our regular weekly sessions, plus you get access to custom training sessions (arranged through our WhatsApp group chats) which are other times members get together to work around their schedules or for extra training.

Training together as a club means every member benefits from a supportive and social environment among like-minded triathletes. We learn from each other, we encourage each other, and we have fun!

Commitment to training

Triathlon training typically involves at least two sessions in each discipline (swim, bike, run), good nutrition and rest, and exercises to improve core strength and flexibility (e.g. weights, yoga, pilates). What you are willing to commit will depend on your goals and your other priorities - whether it’s just to stay fit, complete your first triathlon, an Ironman, or qualify for Kona. It’s each to their own!

Weekly training schedule

Our weekly training schedule is designed for BRATs to train together as a club throughout the week. Each session has their purpose towards improving performance and socialising. Designed for all levels, become a BRAT and see how we can help redefine what you can achieve.

At its core are our bike sessions on Tuesday (intervals), Thursday (short/recovery) and Saturday (short/long). Our run sessions on Wednesday (tempo) and Friday (intervals) are on alternate days to our bike training. Swim sessions are scheduled around our bike and run training. Most sessions are led by our professional coaches.
