BRAT+ Exclusive Swim Squads Thurdays @ Waverley College

We are now able to offer BRAT members an EXCLUSIVE swim squad, just for you and your team mates :) Run by a fully qualified triathlon coach, Sue King, from SwimLab.

Each session will be a combination of skills, technique, stroke efficiency work, breathing sets, circuits and conditioning sets. We will have 3 lanes available exclusively for BRAT members, with maximum 5 people per lane. Lanes will be split into differing speeds and abilities, and will enable you to swim in a focussed, fun and motivating group environment.

Normal sessions swimmers must be able to complete 400m in 9.30 minutes/ 2.20 per 100m or quicker.

In the 2023/2024 summer season, squads are held at Waverley College pool - entry is via Birrell and Henrietta Street, you can park your car in the teachers’ car park or bring your bike and leave it poolside. To get to the pool, (1) walk up the side of the tennis courts, pass the cricket nets, and (2) up the steps to the pool entrance. Head to the far end of the pool under the trees, you’ll find us there. Changing rooms are available at the pool.

Squads will run from 6:15-7:15pm on Thursday evenings. These squads are $7.50 for BRAT members. If you are not able to make it, it is your responsibility to find someone else for your place.

Spots will be released on a weekly basis for each Thursday on Mondays, you will get an update on the BRATs Swim whatsapp group. Don’t miss out as we expect these to get booked up quickly!
