BEGINNERS

Most sessions are run by members on a volunteer basis. If your requirements are for formal training, the club works with some qualified coaches and can provide more details on request.

We have a range of dedicated beginner sessions as listed below in order from most basic through to mixed sessions: 

Beginner Bike in Centennial Park

 

5:45am Tuesday: This session runs at the same time and place as the regular Tuesday bike.  The slowest group will be lead by an experienced rider who will give tips on bunch riding and ensure no one gets left behind.  We ask that all members attend this session before attempting a Saturday or Sunday ride.  

Swim Squad at Icebergs Pool

 

1:30pm Saturday: Johanna from Salty Fit runs this session.  She is an experienced coach and ensures that the session caters for all levels, including those new to swimming.  You can also talk to her about personal coaching, stroke correction and various short courses to take your swimming to the next level.  $10 for BRAT Members

Track Running

6:15pm Wednesday: Don't be put off if you have never run on a track before!  These sessions are perfect for all abilities, as you can go at your own pace without the fear of getting lost.
